36 vanilla caramels (10 oz.)
3 Tbsp. light cream
1 c. corn flakes
2 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped California walnuts
1/2 c. raisins


Place 36 vanilla caramels (10 ounces) and 3 tablespoons light cream in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Beat until caramels melt. Stir occasionally. Toss together 1 cup corn flakes, 2 cups crisp rice cereal, 1 cup flaked coconut, 1/2 cup chopped California walnuts, and 1/2 cup raisins. Pour caramel mixture over dry mixture and mix thoroughly. With buttered fingers, press rounded tablespoons of mixture lightly into balls. Place on waxed paper. Makes about 4 dozen confection cookies.
